Research conducted at the Mathematical Modeling Laboratory aims to develop algorithmic methods in mathematics and broadly define mathematical modeling and data analysis methods. The main areas of research include:
- Algorithmic methods in combinatorics and graph theory
- Algorithmic methods in cryptology
- Methods of statistical data analysis
- Methods of microscopic image analysis
- Application of mathematical methods in nanostructure modeling
- Application of mathematical and statistical methods in biological and medical data analysis
- Application of numerical methods in the theory of elasticity, particularly for studying random vibrations in gyroscopic and viscoelastic systems
- Methods of biomathematics and bioinformatics and their applications
- Data mining methods and their applications
